Today is the Day!!

Well it's not actually the "Mountain" Day, but we leave today for the trip....I can't believe it's here!
I have been up early, or little sleep thinkig of what I might be forgetting:) So it's 4 a.m. and I have a list...my bag is still about 3lbs over weight so I'm trying to decide what to leave behind??
I again cannot say how Thankful I am for this "Celebration" I get to experience! I am so blessed in SO many ways...I have had so my encouragement from every area of my life!
The fundraiser is going ok....but I'm so glad I et to represent Rotary, and the "Kids"!
I am abundantly wealthy with love from ALL of you!
Kristi and I will truly feel the Prayers of Love and Encouragement from"home"!

2 days!

I had a terrific weekend, 10 mile run, that felt great! Family time! Many emailes, texts and phone calls. Time wi th friends.
My amazing son was selected as "Rookie of the year!" for the Windsor-Severance Fire!! My beautiful daughter in law was also selected as an Outstanding Perfomer!! So thankful and Grateful for my kids!

I will miss them but the are my "WHY"!!
As I was running I was thinking about what I have, and have acheived in my journey...My barns are filling slowly, but STEADY, with security. But the most important growth is knowing my family, friends and community are the true wealth!! I am so Thankful for the love and support I get!
I made a decision to do this trip to push me outside my comfort level, but also to shout from the Mountain my love to Him, for all of you!!

I'm going crazy today getting ready, but I'm smiling!

Last Long Run...

Good Morning! I had a Fantastic 10 mile run today! My last long train before the trip...
Wow my mind was so in the journey today, I really wasn't even tired?!? I think thats a good sign:)
As I have shared I do have an anxious feeling, not really fear just anxious about something? I live in the most amazing community, I have been Hugged, Waved, Honked, and yelled encouragements from So many! It really keeps me going. My WHY is my wonderful Son, and family!
My barns are truly over flowing with BLESSING!

I'm Roaring and ready!

5 days!

I can't explain my emotions...I'm excited, but seems like so much to do before I leave. I visualize myself on the Summit, but wake up in the middle of the night wandering, what it will be like? I am so proud of myself for taking a risk, and stepping outside my traditional box! It makes me think of my Dad, and wandering what would he think?
This week has not been terrific training, and I actually have been questioned several times on"Are you ready, Have you trained enough?"...Have I, Yes I feel like I have patiently planned:)

Life IS possible...Here I come!

Today the sinrise is amazing...Like opening the best gift I've ever gotten! Peaceful morn, color in the sky is indiscribable! Ready for my run and being Happy all day!
I'm close to being packed now I have to weigh the bag to see how this all comes together...
I'm going very natural...for me, not much makeup, my hair will be in a ponytail, and probably wearing the same clothes multiple times:) Come enjoy our journey!!

The last few days have been terrific...Preparation, running, friends! I love my community! I get so much love and support!
My run this morning was great only 4 miles but feeling so good, yesterday was 8 miles. Beautiful day in the rockies today!
Yesterday was filled with more preparation. Getting bank cards organized, new money, a few last clothing items. I'm sure there will be more but for now my list is much shorter!
So grateful an Thankful!

13 days!

yesterday and today were terrfic runs...the weather was great, I had more and more energy. I am so excited for the adventure before me! So blessed to have the opportunity to live my journey to the Top!
I can't believe it is only 13 days until the trip. We have talk, prepared, trained...I THINK we are ready!
